ASTM A179 cold drawn low carbon steel heat exchanger and condenser tube
Scope of application
1. This standard applies to the most thin-walled seamless steel pipes used in tube heat exchangers, condensers and similar heat transfer devices.
2. This standard is suitable for 3.2~76.2mm steel pipe.

5. heat treatment
After the last cold drawing, the heat treatment is carried out at the temperature of less than 650 degrees C
6. hardness test
HRB 72, the requirements of sampling test for any two samples from each batch of steel pipe. 7. flatting test
