We are a company based in Mombasa Kenya and are in the market for Steel Well Casings. Kindly assist us with a quotation with your best offer for steel well casings as per the technical specs attached and advice on availability of the same. Please further note and advise on the following;

Technical Specifications and Price Schedules

Notes Applicable to All Schedules:

The Goods to be supplied must be new, unused and of the latest design.
Relevant descriptive literature of the Goods showing conformity to technical specification shall be provided with the bid. Irrelevant literature downloaded from the Internet is not acceptable.
A tenderer may quote for supply of one or both schedules. Each schedule quoted for must be COMPLETE in order to qualify as responsive. In this case each schedule has 2

Lots.

If there is a discrepancy between words and figures, the amount in words shall prevail. If there is a discrepancy between the unit price and the total price that is obtained by multiplying the unit price and quantity, the unit price shall prevail, and the total price shall be corrected.
Delivery Period

The Goods shall be delivered in TWO LOTS

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Schedule A – Steel Casings

a)Thecasing shall be genuine, new and unuse b) The casing shall be seamless.
c)Thecasing shall be manufactured from an open-hearth electric furnace or basic oxygen stee
d)The casing shall be manufactured to API Specification 5CT and should have the API

monogram.

e) Each piece of casing shall be supplied with power tight buttress thread coupling on one e
f) Approved steel thread protectors shall be provided for both ends for each piece of casing.
g)Thecasing shall be mill coated with a non-bituminous coating to prevent rusting during transit and storage.
h)Mill test certificate from the manufacturer to be prov
i) All the relevant catalogues, brochures and descriptive literature shall accompany the casing

Schedule B – Casing Accessories

a)All casingaccessories shall be new, unused
b)All centralisers shallmeet API Specification 10D, and be non-welded hinged type with spring steel bows.
c)Appropriatebolts and nuts shall accompany all Centralise

§ The Authorization is a standard form for all international tenders from Kenya under the public procurement act. Before suppliers have quoted stating the goods are from the manufacture/Distributor, only for the same statement to be false. It therefore forces all bidding suppliers to get quotes from the correct suppliers. It can be can filled by Manufacturers or Distributors or agents or appointed resellers. It ensures that parties tendering are serious players and the evaluations are deemed to be from correct suppliers. The document must be stamped & signed for the tender to be evaluated.
